After the Credits Episode 224: January Preview

Fingers crossed this is *actually* coming in January…

Here we go again.

We have said goodbye to 2017 and are kicking off the new year with our first preview of the year and it’s not exactly stellar.

January is commonly a mix of left over prestige pictures finally opening wide and a dumping ground for genre fare but this month does have a glimmering ray of hope – even if we haven’t seen anything about White Boy Rick.

Join us as Colleen, Dale (Letterboxd), special guest Melissa (Letterboxd) and I (Letterboxd) check out what’s opening in January.

We can also be contacted via email – info@atcpod.ca!

  1. Hey Marina, I think you’re mixing actors in these James Wan horror franchises, but I don’t blame you. They all start to blur together. Ethan Hawke was in Sinister, Patrick Wilson was in the first 2 Insidious films, and starred with Vera Farmiga in The Conjuring films. The one interesting thing with The Last Key seems to be that the movie is now solely centered around Lin Shaye’s medium character. At least that’s commendable. An elderly leading female in a horror franchise?
Is it me or are there more promising January films this year? Isn’t this supposed to be box office graveyard month? 😉

    1. :-O you ARE right. I completely confused the two franchises. My bad. That’s how much close attention I’ve paid to both of those franchises. OOPS.

And if you think Jan is looking ok – wait till Feb!
