  1. Films seen numerous times in the theatre (as requested):

    Some Kind of Wonderful – 3 times!

    Mamma Mia – 3 times, each time with important women in my life and we all loved it

    Those were the most, but there was one film that was so good I saw it twice during TIFF, not an easy feat! The second time I brought my sister. The film is True North (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0497365/) and sadly didn't get a regular Canadian release.

    I'm so impressed that Coleen saw Tank Girl 7 times – that film rocks!!

    Christmas Movie Traditions – not so much on these. I tend to fall back on classic Christmas films prior to Christmas like It's A Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street (B&W), A Christmas Story, The Bishop's Wife.

    I also tend to take in Going My Way and The Bell's of St. Marys for some Bing Crosby goodness. And sometimes, Star Wars.

    I think it's all about comforting classics although last year I did something completely different and had a Bruce Lee Movie Marathon! I might keep up with that and snag more Kung Fu films for this year.

  2. Just starting the show and had to comment:

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/D3PLxXdLukg&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/D3PLxXdLukg&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b&quot; type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

  3. Never watched "Friends" but that clip was pretty funny.

    As for Ron Howard:

    Cocoon = not my thing

    Splash = fun

    Gung Ho = never seen it

    Apollo 13 = meh

    Cinderella Man = meh

    But dude, he directed Far and Away which comes up later in the podcast. That movie is shit but I have a soft spot for it.
