After the Credits Episode 276: January Preview

Happy new decade!

Not only are we celebrating the beginning of a new year but also a brand new decade which is sure to be filled with a plethora of new stars, directors, technology and many, many movies.

But for now, not much has changed. We kick off 2020 with a look ahead at the movies opening in January and rather surprisingly, though likely not a preview of what’s to come for the rest of the year, it’s a very short month.

Join Colleen, Dale (Letterboxd), and I (Letterboxd) as we walk you through the first movie offerings of the new decade.

  1. Hey Marina, if you can stomach the typical exhaustive Ken Burns docu-length, check out “The Vietnam War: (Ken Burns, Lynn Novick)” docuseries. It’s still on Netflix. 10 episodes ranging from 90min-2 hours. It’s pretty incredible, dense, and enlightening. They even spend some time interviewing US and Vietnamese survivors. Riveting stuff.

      I’ll definitely move it up the list!
